Michael Lindstrom, is a landscape and still life oil painter. Inspired by nature, much of the time Michael enjoys painting from life out in the field in order to capture the color, light, and the spontaneity of a fleeting moment. He also enjoys exploring the use of textures in paint to add depth to his compositions. Energy, passion and mood are three words that are never far from his thoughts when painting. And whether he is working on a multi-day piece or a quick sketch, his main goal is to elicit an emotional response. “I want the viewer to feel a painting.”
